Welcome Dr. Braxton Rider, DPM

A native of West Tennessee, Dr. Rider attended Union University in Jackson as a member of the collegiate golf team. His interest in podiatric medicine began early through hands-on experience working in a podiatry clinic throughout college.

Dr. Rider earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University, where he graduated first in his class as valedictorian. He completed his Podiatric Surgery Residency at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, where he received comprehensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of foot and ankle conditions.

Dr. Rider is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and has been recognized with numerous academic scholarships and honors, including the Highest Proficiency in Scholarship Award for achieving the highest academic average throughout his medical education. He is ABFAS certification eligible and maintains certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Basic Life Support.

Known for his compassionate care and commitment to excellence, Dr. Rider enjoys helping patients return to the activities they love through personalized treatment plans and evidence-based care.

When he is not working, you will find Dr. Rider on the golf course, pickle ball court or just spending time outdoors.
